Project Description

Domestic Violence

Domestic violence can be physical or psychological and it can affect people of any age, gender, race or sexual orientation. Abusive relationships involve an imbalance of power and control. No one should be subjected to physical violence, or emotional abuse by hurtful words or intimidation. Taking that first step is never easy. It takes a lot of courage to recognize you are a victim and to take action to protect yourself and/or your child or children. You can do it! You need an advocate that will fight for you, who is sympathetic to your situation, who will understand what you are going through, and an attorney who has the resources to recommend any professional help that you may need to cope through this difficult time. We will guide you through the process of obtaining an injunction and help you in getting out of an abusive relationship. We have the knowledge and experience to get you through the difficult times and begin a new chapter in your life.
